Landslide. Kalinga Road, 10 Km away from Bontoc. Around 8- ft High

(A true story 7:00 PM, June 25, 2017, Kalinga road, 10 km away from Bontoc Mountain Province)
We have to hurry! It’s already 3 pm, and the rain is about to fall. We need to make it fast so we can avoid landslides.

“Copy that” that’s my response after Tito Ayi, our organizer sent the message on the radio. He is already waiting for us at the Buscalan jump off. He went ahead of us to check on our driver and get some news about a possible landslide.

If we didn’t stop, we might have achieved greatness by now.

An article for people that needs commitment and consistency on their goal.

Most of us when fueled, we put ideas into actions, We are so motivated to pursue success in the path we have chosen. But have you noticed after a few days or weeks, your energy is decreasing? We get lazy to do our tasks, and a rain of excuses started to fall.

This happens when we have a mindset of overnight success. We often expect a drastic change in a snap of a finger and gets disappointed by temporary defeat. We will then move back to our comfort zones and live our lives in mediocrity instead of seeing the big picture.
Time has passed as we lived our normal lives. Everything seems to be ordinary until we see our comrades who have the same dream as yours and they ‘re now drinking the same wine of success after a long journey.

Who is your greatest enemy?

You don’t have to conquer the world, only yourself.

Our greatest enemy and best ally are no other than ourselves. One must conquer himself to overcome adversity. Hate, pain, sufferings, heartache, fear or any other negative emotion you can think of was not coming from the outside.

Our mind is the creator of our reality. If you believe in something and the subconscious mind considers this as a fact, it will manifest into your life.

Why five “5” exponent zero “0” is equal to one “1”?

~ A colorful way to say f**k off.

If you were able to answer these questions, I would admire your intelligence. To be honest, when someone asked this to me, I have no idea what to say. I don’t know the answer. It may sound simple I guess for those who are good in math.

I was bothering this person when she asked me this. It made me think that if this is her creative way of saying, “stay away from me”, “stop bothering me” or perhaps “fuck off!. Indeed this is a unique and colourful way to stop the person who’s bothering you.

You wouldn’t mind if I sit, would you?

bus

I was on my way to the province to visit my grandmother. It was not on my plan, but my aunt told me that my granny suffered from a severe headache that caused her to become unconscious. I care a lot about her, probably more than the care I gave to all of the girls I’ve met and dated. I arrived at the terminal few minutes before the bus departs from the station and I noticed that there’s a long queue of the passengers near the bus.
I’ve found out that there are no more seats available and those who still want to hop in needs to stand, I didn’t have enough sleep because I just came from work. The next bus will leave after 5 hours, and that is not a good option.

The Woman and the Broken Glass

Dumped-woman-sitting-on-a-benchI was on my way home when I saw a woman crying as she sat on a bench. I was waiting for the bus to arrive then suddenly there’s a voice in my head that says “Go and be a man”. I walked up to her and said. “I know that you don’t me and I don’t have any idea who you are but are you alright?” I’m okay she said while wiping her tears. “You know what? If it is always a sunny day, the world is going to be a desert. Sometimes, we really need to experience rainy days” I said to her. You’re a man and you won’t understand, she replied. I started asking questions that lead to a long conversation. The idea of going home left my mind for an unknown reason.

Life isn’t a Spectator Sport

Statistics says that people spent an average of 1 hour and 46 minutes in social media and an average of 5 hours is being spent on television. The natural conversation with real human being has decreased. We are all exposed watching other people’s lives and we are bombarded with so many advertisements in a day. Media has been influencing our lives and most of the people don’t give a damn on it. Society created a conditioning with the help of media to inject beliefs that changed our behaviour.
